Cali Gold Dominates the field at the USA National Dual 9U tournament

TEAM CALI GOLD (USA NATIONALS DUALS 9U CHAMPIONS)

LAS VEGAS, NEV. – Cali Gold brought down the hammer on the competition at the USA Nationals Dual 9U tournament as they outwrestled all opponents they faced on Saturday afternoon inside the arena at Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino.

Eight teams were put into two pools of four teams to decide the guaranteed first – eighth placements. During the pool competition, Cali Gold kickstarted the event by defeating Ares Wrestling Club (57-6). The team won 11 of the 13 contested matches and earned five falls.

Their second opponent Team New Mexico Blue suffered the same fate as Ares Wrestling Club, as they won one match and loss (65-4). Team Cali Gold won 12 consecutive matches against Team New Mexico Blue.

Their final opponent from pool competition was Ohio Misfits. An All-Star team made up of great wrestlers from the Buckeye state. Team Cali Gold stepped up to the challenge and defeated Ohio Misfits (57-9) to win the pool and be placed in the championship finals.

In the championship bracket, Team Cali Gold defeated Team Last Man Standing (60-3) and Ohio Misfits (54-9) to win the event.

Numerous wrestlers from Team Cali Gold finished the competition undefeated. These wrestlers include Nathaniel Solorio (47), Kayden Vasquez (53), Samuel Sanchez (61), Madden Skidmore (66), Wyatt Fry (71), Aiden Chur (83), and Mike Baeza (93).
