Clovis High’s Jacob Good Commits to Arizona State

TCW Bear LogoAnother elite California high school wrestler made his college decision this week – and he’s headed out of state. According to the website PinFall Recruiting, 2018 CIF state place winner Jacob Good (Clovis HS), will be furthering his wrestling career for Pac-12 power Arizona State.

Good is the latest California high school wrestler to pick ASU. In the 2019 class alone, he joins St. John Bosco star Cleveland Belton and Trabuco Hills Trey Munoz. Even more, six former California wrestlers are already on the roster. Including Clovis native and 2018 CIF state champion

At Arizona State, Good is joining a program on the rise. The Sun Devils won the Pac-12 championship and took 10th at the 2018 NCAA Wrestling Championships, scoring 43 points behind a program-record nine qualifiers and two All-Americans – headlined by Zahid Valencia, who won an individual title at 174-pounds. Good is projected to compete for the Sun Devils at 197-pounds.
