Bulldog Wrestling Fans,

The WRESTLING FAITHFUL FAMILY NIGHT was a huge success in many ways! It was great to see and visit with so many passionate wrestling fans in one room. Thank you to all that attended last Friday evening. Your support continues to amaze all of us! We will continue to build on the energy and excitement that surrounds this program. A special thanks goes out to our First Lady, Mary Castro. She was a rock star! Her energy may be utilized in a pep talk to our team next season.

We are only 1 month away from signing our first recruiting class. We have been busy with on-campus visits, home visits and plan to attend many major tournaments around the country over the next several weeks to ensure we find the best for our Fresno State Wrestling team. We are very excited about all of the young men that have already given commitments to become Bulldogs next year. We are looking to build on the character, drive, and commitment that these young men have which will set the culture of this program. Stay tuned for the announcement of who is a part of the first Bulldog recruiting class….

Mark your calendars for this Friday, October 14 @ 4pm as The Valley Regional Training Center will have an open practice in the Fresno State Wrestling Room in the North Gym. Get a glimpse of the Fresno State Wrestling Staff and the current Valley RTC athletes in action. If you are out tailgating before the San Diego State vs. Fresno State Football Game, stop in and check us out. Open practices will take place 3 hours prior to the start of the Fresno State Football Games on October 14 and October 28. We hope to see some Bulldog Faithful and new faces there!
The Inaugural Fresno State Wrestling Coaches Clinic will take place on November 18-19, 2016. Technique Sessions, Strength and Conditioning Principles, Fundraising Ideas, Coaches Socials and much more will be included in our clinic. Additionally, a CPR certification class will be provided along with your earned CEUs, if needed. Your fee includes a ticket and parking for the Fresno State vs. Hawaii Football game.
