  • 2019 CIF Central Coast Section Steve Stearns Sportsmanship Award Winner for Pursuing Victory with Honor
  • Recognized by the City of Gonzales for actions in an emergency situation saving a teacher’s life from choking by performing the heimlich maneuver.
  • Senior year: Ranked 15th in the State of California 

Robert will be the first in his family to attend college and has maintained a GPA of 3.2 or better all 4 years of high school. He has been active in the sports medicine  program at Gonzales and will be majoring in Business while at Simpson University.  Robert has been wrestling for eight years and contributed to the future of Gonzales Wrestling as an elementary school coach. Robert looks forward to continuing his education in the close-knit setting of Simpson University.

  • Senior year Honorable Mention CIF State Rankings

Antonio maintained a 3.1 or higher GPA  while at Gonzales High School. Antonio has been wrestling for five years.  Antonio was a standout Spartan football player earning the team honor of Spartan Award. Antonio was the ASB Vice President at Gonzales High.  As an active member of Future Farmers of America Antonio earned his state Sash. Antonio served the youth of Gonzales coaching the middle school Flag Football League. Antonio served as an interpreter for St. Theodore’s Chatholic Church in the Food Pantry program.  Antonio represented the student migrant program in its’ trip to Washington DC in 2018.  Antonio has his sights set on becoming an All American at Simpson University on his way to a Business degree.
