With so much success the state of California has had throughout the country when it comes to women’s wrestling, there’s no secret that some of the top WCWA programs are searching for potential recruits in the golden state.
The Lindenwood University wrestling team will add two newcomers to the 2018 squad in Audrey Elgarico of Elk Grove and Adrienne Dominguez of American Canyon. They both will bring a much-needed piece to the puzzle for the Lions to succeed at a high level.
Elgarico had a successful scholastic career that saw her advanced to the CIF state tournament on three occasions. As senior for the Thundering Herd, Elgario was triumphant in winning the Sac-Joaquin Section tournament and placing fourth at the CIF state event.
Dominguez was a two-time CIF state qualifier and on both occasions was whiting a match from garnering All-State status at 170-pounds. Aside from being a great wrestler in the golden state, Dominguez was also beasting the competition around the country as in the year 2016; she gathered All-American honors at Fargo Nationals.
Elgarico is projected at 136/143, while Dominguez at 170-pounds.
