No. 2 Recruit at 152-pounds Commits to Fresno State

TCW Bear LogoVia social media, Jace Luchau of Selma High announced his decision to stay in the golden state and compete for Fresno State.

Luchau is currently ranked No. 2 in the country at 152-pounds and the No. 41 overall wrestler in the class of 2019. A Central Section Champion, Luchau’s, stock has risen in the last couple of months due to his outstanding performances at Fargo and UWW Nationals in Freestyle and Greco-Roman. He competed at Flo’s Who’s # 1 event where he lost a tight match to the No. 1 wrestler in the country at 152-pounds.

It appears Luchau will be either at 149 or 157lber for the Bulldogs depending on the coaches needs. Luchau is the fourth top recruit to commit to FSU this year joining seniors Matt Olguin (Buchanan HS), Ryan Reyes (Gilroy HS), and Christian Rodriguez (Selma HS).
