This time, it was Nathan Tausch (182) who via social media, decided to let the wrestling community know of his choice of attending Cal Poly. Nathan has made great strides for the Titans as he went from a state qualifier in 2016, to placing fifth in the state tournament last season.
Nathan is a CIF San Diego and Masters champion and placed third last year at the always tough Battle for the Belt tournament. Last year, he placed third at the California World Challenge during the off-season where he went on to defeat such wrestlers as Celso Silva, Chris Cantoriano, Christian Rodriguez, and Drake McAdow.
Nathan is projected to compete at either 184 or 197 for the Mustangs. Nathan’s teammates Jacob Allen and Chase Zollmann will be competing next fall for Wyoming and the Naval Academy.
