Arguably one of the most accomplished high school wrestler in Glenn County history, Orland’s Enrique Landeros made his college commitment on Monday. The senior will continue his school and athletic career at Sacramento City College and challenge for a CCCAA state title in the future.
Landeros was a two-time Northern Section champion and a four-time state qualifier for the Trojans. As a sophomore, Landeros placed sixth at the CIF state tournament, while finishing a match shy of the medal rounds as a junior. He is projected to take over the role at 141-pounds this upcoming season for the Panthers.
Sacramento City College finished last season third at the CCCAA state tournament with three state finalists. The Panthers were also the Northern Region Champions.
